ASBM hosts conference on sustainable business strategies

Bhubaneswar: CM Mohan Charan Majhi emphasised the importance of integrating environmental, economic and social objectives through robust policies recently while delivering a message for ASBM University‘s International Management Conference (IMCON’25) on sustainable business strategies.
Majhi expressed hope that the conference, whose theme was ‘Navigating the Future: Strategies for Sustainable Transformation’ would yield valuable outcomes through effective brainstorming sessions. The two-day event, which concluded on Saturday, was inaugurated by excise minister Prithiviraj Harichandan.
Professor Douglas Gilbert of Vilnius University, Lithuania, delivered the keynote address, which focused on the intersection of responsible business expansion and sustainable development.
Higher education minister Suryabanshi Suraj highlighted the conference’s significance in the current dynamic business landscape, noting that a compilation of selected research papers will be released as a knowledge repository for the academia and industry. Higher education secretary Aravind Agrawal praised the university’s status as a premier management education institute and stressed on the importance of collaborative and inclusive approaches in an interconnected business world.
Dr Pankaj Mittal, secretary general and former vice-chancellor of BPS Women’s University in Haryana, commended ASBM’s initiative in organising “this vital platform for discourse on sustainable business practices”.TNN
