Ara MP Sudama Prasad vows to work for small traders’ welfare | Patna News – Times of India


Ara: Ara MP and CPI (ML) neta, Sudama Prasad, on Monday organized a thanksgiving ceremony for the traders’ association members for extending their support to him in the Lok Sabha election. The members were also felicitated at the programme organised at circuit house here.
Speaking on the occasion, Prasad said, “In my first speech in the Lok Sabha, I raised the issue of small traders.I also demanded constitution of a traders’ commission in the country.” He said the traders of Telangana and Maharashtra have appreciated his demand and expressed their support for the cause. “Even during the Covid-19 pandemic, I had raised the issue of small traders. I thank the traders for their support. I will keep working for the expansion of the traders’ association both at the state and national level.”
The traders’ association Bhojpur district president, Surendra Prasad Singh, who presided over the felicitation programme, thanked the Ara MP for taking up the cause of small traders.
Vice-secretary of the association, Uma Shankar Singh, also expressed gratitude to the MP for fighting for the rights of traders.
