Bhubaneswar: The higher education department has initiated the process for appointment of vice-chancellors to Khallikote Unitary University in Berhampur and Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University, Baripada.
The department has invited applications from eligible candidates below 63 years of age for the VC posts. An email containing the application should reach the department by July 10, while the hard copy should reach by July 15.
The tenure of the VCs will be four years from the date he/she assumes office or until he/she attains 67 years of age, whichever is earlier.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews to Bhubaneswar by a three-member selection committee. The committee will then recommend three candidates to the chancellor of universities (governor), who will select one candidate each.
