HYDERABAD: A programme focused on joint preservation as an alternative to immediate surgery was recently launched at Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad. It aims to provide early intervention and personalised treatment to help individuals maintain their mobility and confidence.
The programme is designed to treat patients suffering from joint pain, arthritis, inflammatory conditions, and ligament injuries through the ‘3 Ts’: tailored advice, treatment (both medical and surgical), and therapies (including rehabilitation, nutrition, and alternative treatments).
Patients who have been advised treatment for their affected joints elsewhere, as well as those seeking their first consultation for joint pain, will now have access to a wide range of comprehensive treatment options.
The programme includes advanced arthroscopic techniques and state-of-the-art treatments, such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy and stem cell applications.
Patients will also have access to comprehensive support services, including physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and nutritional counselling.
