Akbaruddin leads AIMIM walkout over deletion of query | Hyderabad News

Hyderabad: AIMIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi and his party MLAs staged a walkout on Monday to protest the deletion of his query from the question hour agenda.
An angry Akbaruddin, while protesting in the assembly, said, “Please don’t run the House like Gandhi Bhavan; run it like an assembly,” addressing the chair.
Akbaruddin, along with MLAs Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balal and Jaffar Hussain, had raised a question about the number of GOs and budget release orders (BROs) issued by the govt, their upload status, and public accessibility. He also inquired whether the govt had failed to fulfil its promise of ensuring transparency in the issuance of GOs, BROs, and govt circulars.
He questioned why BROs, GOs, and circulars were not being uploaded on the govt or finance department websites as promised.
When his question was not taken up, Akbaruddin expressed frustration, claiming his question was altered and the question hour was abruptly ended without addressing it. The speaker responded by stating that the question hour had concluded, despite an additional 30 minutes being allocated, and assured Akbaruddin that his question would be taken up on Tuesday.
