Airport staffer held for human trafficking – The Times of India

Mumbai: The city crime branch probing the human trafficking racket which had allegedly sent more than 80 persons from Gujarat to Canada, London, and Turkey on Friday arrested an employee of an international airlines. The Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) caught Rameshwar Pratap Singh (53), a resident of Mira Road working for VJet Vietnam Airlines.
Singh, who was produced before the holiday court on Friday and remanded to police custody is accused of facilitating the syndicate in sending people abroad using forged documents. Police said his name cropped up after they stumbled upon mobile phones of co accused Ajit Puri. Police are looking for one Rajesh Panchal. Last week police had arrested Roshad Dudhwadkar, Ajit Puri, and Imtiaz Shaikh. tnn
