AIIMS-Patna and CGHS Sign Pact for Cashless Treatment | Patna News – Times of India



Patna: Central govt employees and their dependents can now avail the facility of cashless treatment at AIIMS-Patna, as a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in this regard was signed on Tuesday. The cashless medical benefits will cover outpatient consultations, diagnostic tests, inpatient care and specialized treatments as per the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) guidelines.
The initiative is expected to simplify the healthcare process for CGHS beneficiaries, reducing the financial burden and enhancing the overall healthcare experience.
The MoU was signed by the executive director of AIIMS-Patna, Dr G K Pal, and the additional director of CGHS, Dr Thakur Abhay Pratap Singh, in the presence of several dignitaries. According to a press release issued by AIIMS-Patna, under this agreement, CGHS employees and their dependents will have access to a wide range of medical services at the hospital without the need for upfront payments.
Dr Pal said the step would provide seamless healthcare service to govt employees.
