‘10L outpatients treated in AIIMS’

Bhubaneswar: AIIMS Bhubaneswar has treated over 10 lakh outpatients, conducted 17 lakh diagnostic tests and 25,000 surgeries last year. Ashutosh Biswas, executive director of AIIMS Bhubaneswar, said this at the 12th annual day of the national institute on Saturday. He said the institute has ranked third in the country in ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) registration, generating 7,05,760 tokens.“We have performed complex life-saving procedures and demonstrated a strong dedication to innovation in healthcare,” he added.
Deputy chief minister K V Singh Deo, in his address, reassured full support from state govt in resolving land and other pressing issues. He reiterated govt’s commitment to ensuring the continued growth of AIIMS Bhubaneswar.tnn
