Adivasi Mela dates shifted | Bhubaneswar News

Bhubaneswar: In view of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas event, the state govt has decided to hold the annual Adivasi Mela 20 days earlier than its scheduled date. Earlier, it was supposed to be held from January 26 to February 10. But now the fair will be held from January 5 to 16 at the Exhibition Ground, where tribal communities from across the state will showcase indigenous products from tribal hinterlands, including handloom and handicrafts.
As many as 147 stalls selling tribal products, including spices, pulses, rice and millets, will be set up at the fair. Live demonstrations of traditional crafts and handlooms of tribal communities will be held in 15 stalls. There will also be an array of tribal delicacies at the food court.
