'Abducted, assaulted, killed': Tamil Nadu truck driver dies after being pushed under moving vehicle in Karnataka road rage
A 24-year-old truck driver from Tamil Nadu was abducted, assaulted, and killed by a group of bikers in a road-rage incident near Nelamangala, Bengaluru.

BENGALURU: A 24-year-old truck driver from Tamil Nadu was abducted, assaulted and killed after he was pushed under a moving truck by a group of bikers in a road-rage incident at Boodihal village, near Nelamangala, Thursday night.
The victim, Sarbuddin, along with another driver Bhupathi, was driving the truck filled with electronic goods from Delhi to a warehouse near Nelamangala.The duo stopped the truck near Boodihal and had liquor at a hotel on the highway. They picked up food and walked back to the vehicle.
According to police, Sarbuddin began driving the truck and entered the main carriageway. At the same time, a group of bikers coming to the carriageway picked up an argument with Sarbuddin over the way he was driving. What started as a brief argument escalated into a violent altercation when Sarbuddin got down from the truck. The bikers kidnapped Sarbuddin, took him about 1km away, thrashed him on the road and pushed him under a moving truck, killing him on the spot.
Bhupathi, who followed the bikers, found Sarbuddin dead and alerted cops. A special police team has been formed under Nelamangala DySP Jagadish to track down and arrest the culprits.
Three youths arrested for attempted murder in road-rage incident
Bengaluru: Three youths were arrested for allegedly attempting to murder a private company employee in a road-rage incident at Subramanyanagar, west Bengaluru, Jan 28 night.
While riding his bike, Bharat applied sudden brakes, bringing the two-wheeler to a halt, and a car behind ended up hitting him on Subramanyanagar 17th Cross. A heated argument broke out between Bharat and three men in the car. The latter accused Bharat of applying brakes without reason. The situation worsened when they beat up Bharat. When the latter tried to block the car by standing in front, the trio knocked him down and drove away. Bharat sustained minor injuries and lodged a complaint.
Subramanyanagar police traced the trio and arrested them Thursday. They are Pavan Kumar, Mahesh Kumar, and Kumar, all in their mid-20s and residents of Nandini Layout. Working in different private firms, the three were driving back home after partying, police said.
