Mumbai: Aarey Conservation Group members on Sunday organised a Holi celebration with flowers. No colour or water was used, said a member. The event—Jungle Ke Rang, Apno Ke Sang—organised for the first time, was “to foster a deeper connection between citizens and the forest while raising awareness about its rich flora and fauna,” said activist Nishant Bangera. Participants were served homemade breakfast made by tribals. Manisha Dhinde, a tribal, held a demonstration on the preparation of colours using flowers. tnn
