Mumbai: A woman’s body was found wrapped in a plastic sack in her Goregaon East residence on Tuesday. Police are looking for her husband Jayram Lakda (30). Police said Jayram and the victim Dibya (29) were from Odisha and worked as daily wagers.
A few days ago, the landlord noticed an odour but dismissed it as a dead animal. But as the odour grew stronger, on Tuesday, he went to the couple’s house.He found Dibya’s decomposed body in the sack. Police said she was strangulated with a nylon rope and her feet were tied. tnn
