Tragic Road Accidents Claim Four Lives in Mayurbhanj District |
Balasore: Four people died in two separate road accidents on NH-49 under Bishoi police limits and Bangiriposhi police limits in Mayurbhanj district on Tuesday.
In an area under Bishoi police limits, a truck hit a scooter, killing both the riders. The deceased were identified as Satyaban Mahanth (35) and Yashowant Mahanth (24) of Nuagaon village. Satyaban, the scooter rider, died on the spot, while Yashowant, who was riding pillion, died at the hospital.
In another incident, two died after a truck ran over a scooter near Bangiriposhi overbridge bypass on Tuesday. The deceased were identified as Babulu Behera and Ravi Behera of Chandanpur village. tnn
