RSP employee duped of ₹19.5L

Rourkela: An employee of Rourkela Steel Plant was duped of Rs 19.50 lakh by cyber fraudsters who promised him huge profits in stock market trading.
The 34-year-old RSP employee lodged a complaint at the cyber police station here on Aug 28.
Subsequently, the police registered a case, and an investigation into the matter is ongoing. According to sources, the fraudsters contacted the victim on a social media platform.
They convinced him to create an online trading account through a website, with the help of one Aditya Saxena, to start investing in the stock market.
Accordingly, he began investing online. However, when he tried to withdraw money from the trading account, he failed, prompting him to go to the police.
