Bike Theft Racket: Police bust bike theft racket in Koraput, 3 held | Bhubaneswar News
Koraput: Borigumma police busted a motorcycle theft racket by arresting three members of the gang and recovering 13 two-wheelers from their possession on Tuesday night. According to the police, the investigation was launched after a complaint was filed at Borigumma police station in May. During the course of the investigation, the gang was apprehended, leading to the recovery of the stolen motorcycles.
“All three accused are residents of the district but belong to different police station areas.After stealing the motorcycles, they would sell them. Owners of the recovered motorcycles have been urged to produce the original documents of their vehicles to retrieve them from the police station,” Borigumma SDPO Tapaswini Kanhar said. The arrested persons are Anil Harijan, Budu Nag, and Sanjay Harijan, said police sources.
