Bhubaneswar: A CRPF jawan was found dead outside the quarters of CRPF battalion 64 at Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district on Sunday. Police suspect he died by suicide. He was identified as Arjun Charan Nayak, 58, a native of Jagatsinghpur district. He was working in the CRPF this battalion as a sub-inspector. Kalahandi SP Abilash G said, “We are yet to find out the reason behind his death.” tnn

Retired Army jawan in Faridabad dies by suicide at brother’s house in Bandhwari
Jagan Singh, a retired Army jawan from Faridabad, died by suicide at his brother’s home in Bandhwari on Wednesday. Singh, aged 62, had been in depression, particularly after a head injury from a recent accident. He shot himself using his licensed revolver. His family rushed him to the hospital where he was declared dead.
