Minister: Mohan Majhi to hoist tricolour in Bhubaneswar on Independence Day | Bhubaneswar News
Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Mohan Majhi will hoist the tricolour on the occasion of 78th Independence Day on Gandhi Marg here on Thursday while deputy CMs Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida will unfurl it in Nuapada and Cuttack, respectively.
The govt on Sunday said revenue and disaster management minister Suresh Pujari will hoist the national flag in Kalahandi and rural development minister Rabi Narayan Naik in Sundargarh.School and mass education minister Nityananda Gond will hoist the flag in Koraput while food supplies and consumer welfare minister Krushna Chandra Patra will unfurl the tricolour in Nabarangpur. Law minister Prithiviraj Harichandan will hoist the flag in Ganjam, health and family welfare minister Mukesh Mahaling in Bargarh and commerce and transport minister Bibhuti Bhushan Jena in Gajapati.
Similarly, housing and urban development minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra will unfurl the national flag in Balasore, forest and environment minister Ganesh Ram Singkhuntia in Balangir and sports minister Suryabanshi Suraj in Malkangiri.
Cooperation minister Pradeep Bal Samant will hoist the national flag in Khurda, fisheries and animal resources minister Gokulananda Nayak in Kandhamal and skill development and technical education minister Sampad Chandra Swain in Rayagada.
