Patna: The railways has decided to run two pairs of special passenger trains on Raxaul- Lokmanya Tilak Mumbai route. The passenger trains will run weekly on this route.
East Central Railway’s chief public relations officer (CPRO) Saraswati Chandra said Raxaul-Lokmanya Tilak Mumbai superfast special (05585/05586) started its operation from Friday and will continue till September 1.It will leave Raxaul at 4.55 pm every Friday and reach Mumbai at 5.30 am on Sundays. On its return, the train will leave Mumbai at 4.35 pm every Sunday reach Raxaul at 7.45 am on Tuesdays, the CPRO said, adding that the special train, which has 14 sleeper and eight general coaches, runs via Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Barauni, Patna and DDU .
Another special train (05557/05558) with five AC coaches will be in operation from August 13 to 27. It will leave Raxaul every Tuesday at 7.15 pm and reach Mumbai Thursdays at 5.50 am. On its return, it will leave Mumbai every Thursday from August 15 to 29 at 7.55 am and reach Raxaul on Fridays at 4.50 pm. It will run via Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Patliputra Junction and DDU.
