Patna: State’s industries minister Nitish Mishra will launch Patna chapter of The IndUS Entrepreneurs (TiE), first of its kind in Bihar, on Monday during an event at the Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) here.
TiE was founded in Silicon Valley in 1992 by a group of entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, and professionals from the Indus region.Since its inception, TiE has been dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs across all industries and stages of their journey.
The launch of the TiE Patna chapter will feature prominent leaders from various industries, such as TiE Global’s executive director, Vijay Menon; TiE Global’s board of trustees Kiran Deshpande; TiE SoCal Angels Fund board member & co-founder of Startup Steroid Anshuman Sinha; TiE Global Angels, chair, Mahavir Pratap Sharma; president, TiE Kolkata Kamal Agarwala; and founder of Startup Legal Ravi Bhardwaj.
Furthermore, around 30 founding charter members of the TiE Patna chapter, including MD of Ruban group of hospitals, Dr Satyajit Kr Singh; chief postmaster general, Anil Kumar, CIMP director Rana Singh will attend the event, which will include keynote speeches, networking opportunities for entrepreneurs, startup pitching sessions, and an outline of TiE Patna’s vision and future events.
