Nitish opens RCC bridgein Nalanda

Biharsharif: Chief minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday inaugurated the newly constructed RCC bridge at Dwarka Bigha village under Harnaut block in Nalanda district.
Constructed over Muhane river at the cost of Rs 493.64 lakh under the Chief Minister Area Development Scheme, the bridge will connect dozens of villages, including CM’s ancestral village Kalyan Bigha, Chero, Bahadurpur, Milki among others, directly with NH-20.
An official said Bihar State Pul Nirman Nigam Limited had started construction of the bridge in December 2022, and it was completed in March this year. On this occasion hundreds of people of nearby villages cheered opening of the much-awaited bridge. They raised slogans in favour of the CM.
CM’s principal secretary Deepak Kumar, Patna divisional commissioner Kumar Ravi, Nalanda DM Shashank Shubhankar, Nalanda SP Ashok Mishra and other senior officials were present on this occasion.
