Railways to run Shrawani Mela special train from today | Patna News – Times of India
Patna: The railways has decided to run a Shrawani Mela special train on the Danapur – Sahebganj route to clear the huge rush of devotees and facilitate them to reach Deoghar comfortably. Danapur – Sahebganj special (03235/03236 ) will run from July 28 to August 25.
ECR’s chief public relations officer (CPRO) Saraswati Chandra said the special train will leave Danapur every Sunday at 5.25am and reach Sahebganj at 1.15pm the same day.On its return, it will leave Sahebganj at 3.15pm and reach Danapur at 11.55pm the same day, he said. Meanwhile, Gaya – Madhupur special (03653/03654) has been given stoppage at Warsalignaj for two minutes on both UP and Down journey to facilitate devotees to reach Deoghar, he said.
In addition, the railways has decided to run a special train on the Muzaffarpur – Anand Vihar route from July 28 to December 31 from Muzaffarpur side, and from July 29 to January 1, 2025 from Anand Vihar end. The special train will leave Muzaffarpur daily at 1.30pm and reach Anand Vihar next day at 6am. On its return, it will leave Anand Vihar at 8am and reach Muzaffarpur in the night at 12.45am, the CPRO said, adding it will stop at Govindpuri, Prayagraj, DDU, Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patliputra Junction, Sonepur and Hajipur.
