MUMBAI: Two people sustained major burn injuries after a gas cylinder blast in a slum at Parksite area in Vikrohli at 9.23 pm on Saturday night. The injured were rushed to the civic run Rajawadi hospital.
BMC said, “Fire was extinguished by public before arrival of fire brigade using buckets of water. When the fire brigade arrived at the site they cut off electric supply.”
The injured were identified as Dhananjay Mishra, 46 who has sustained 99% burn injuries and Radheshaym Pande,45 who has sustained approximately 92% burn injuries.
