APS Ranikhet students shine in interschool debate | Patna News – Times of India


Patna: The two-day Inter Army Public School (APS) English and Hindi debate competition for the central command’s cluster-II, hosted by the APS, Danapur Cantt, concluded at Danapur on Saturday. Among the eight participating schools, APS Ranikhet emerged victorious in both English and Hindi debate competitions.
Students from altogether eight Army Public Schools, namely the APS SP Marg Lucknow, APS Ramgarh, APS Ranikhet, APS Kunraghat, APS Gaya, APS Meerut, APS Jabalpur No 2 and APS Clemen Town, showcased their debating prowess in both English and Hindi languages.
Held in school’s ‘Rangshala’ (CCA Hall), the competition featured engaging debate on the topic “Should there be global regulations on the use of AI and automation to protect jobs and human rights?” in English and “Deshhit me Samaan Naagrik Sanhita Aavasyak Hai” in Hindi. The participants impressed upon the audience and judges alike with their well-researched arguments and eloquence.
The event was inaugurated by Dharmsheela Pandey, principal, APS Danapur Cantt. A panel of judges, comprising eminent educationists and professionals, evaluated the debates on various parameters, including content, style and impact.
After a series of captivating rounds, APS Ranikhet emerged victorious and APS Kunraghat lifted the runner-up trophy in both English and Hindi debate competitions. The competition culminated with an award ceremony, where all the participants were lauded for their exceptional performances and argumentative skills.
