New Weekly Train Service Between Jayanagar and Tatanagar Approved by Railway Board | Patna News – Times of India


Weekly train betweenJayanagar and Tatanagar

Patna: The Railway Board has approved a new weekly train between Jayanagar and Tatanagar to fulfil the demands of people of Bihar and Jharkhand on this route. The actual date of operation will be announced soon, said Samastipur divisional railway manager (DRM) Vinay Srivastava.
According to the DRM, the railways has tentatively decided to run the new train every Friday from Tatanagar at 6.50pm, reaching Jayanagar the next day at 11.25am.On its return, the train will leave Jayanagar every Saturday at 7.30pm and reach Tatanagar the next day at 11.30am.
The new weekly train will stop at Chandil, Muri, Kotshila, Rajabera, Dhanbad, Jasidih, Kiul, Barauni, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Sakri and Madhubani stations. Meanwhile, the railways has extended services of at least three special passenger trains on the Patna-Puri, Patna-Howrah, and Patna-Thawe routes under the jurisdiction of the ECR to clear the rush of passengers during the summer period.
