50-year-old man shot dead in Madhepura | Patna News – Times of India
Madhepura: Two bike-borne criminals shot dead a 50-year-old man near Athgama village under Alamnagar police station in Madhepura district on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Shivratan Mandal, son of Rasdhari Mandal.
According to police, Shivratan was on his way to the main post office at Alamnagar on his bike, when two criminals on a motorcycle intercepted him near Athgama village and shot him.He fell on the road and died. However, the criminals fled toward Bajraha village brandishing their fire arms.
On being informed by local residents, a police team reached the spot and sent the body to a govt hospital for postmortem.
“We have started an investigation into the case,” said Alamnagar SHO, Akhilesh Kumar.
