Kendrapada: A couple died and two persons were critically injured when a car collided with a parked truck on NH-16 under Panikoili police station limits in Jajpur district on Thursday morning. The deceased were identified as Binod Jena and Sumitra Jena from Soro in Balasore. The couple, who was in the car, was on their way back to Soro from Cuttack. The two injured persons are admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack.“We suspect the car driver had dozed off at the wheel,” said IIC (Panikoili) Lizarani Biswal. Locals rescued the injured and took out the bodies from the vehicle. TNN
