Auto driver dies by suicide before running train, blames two individuals in suicide note | Mumbai News – Times of India
MUMBAI: A 48-year-old autorickshaw driver died by suicide by jumping before a running train at Goregaon on Tuesday night. He left behind a suicide note in his pocket where he blamed two individuals for his death. Police are yet to trace who these individuals are.
Mohammad Aziz Shaikh, the deceased, was an autorickshaw driver. He was a divorcee and lived with his siblings at Goregaon West.
On Tuesday night, a motorman witnessed Shaikh jump before a train he was piloting.The Borivali GRP was later informed. Shaikh was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. From his pocket, police found an identity card which helped with his identification and address.
Police also found a suicide note where he had named two individuals– Umesh Rathod and Guddu– as responsible. Borivali GRP have registered a case of abetment of suicide against Rathod and Guddu.
