Berhampur: Two persons were arrested on Saturday for allegedly raping a 19-year-old mentally ill woman, after kidnapping her in Kandhamal district on Wednesday.
The incident took place when there was no power in the village and her family members were away. “The incident came to light when the woman’s parents found her near a forest and she narrated the incident to them.The woman’s mother lodged an FIR against the duo the day after,” said IIC of the local police station, Ashutosh Paikray.TNN
