PATNA: The state govt on Tuesday transferred the special secretary in the CM secretariat, Chandrashekhar Singh, and posted him as Patna DM, marking his second stint in this role.
Overall, the govt transferred three IAS officials, including Singh. It also provided postings to Himanshu Sharma and Nilesh Ramchandra Deware, who had returned from central deputation and had been awaiting postings.Similarly, Lakshman Tiwary, transferred from the Chhattisgarh cadre, was also given a posting.
Accordingly, the existing Patna DM, Shirshat Ashok Kapil, has been appointed as the MD of the Bihar State Road Construction Corporation, with the additional charge of special secretary in the road construction department.
