Mumbai: Surendra Gupta, who killed a woman and left two pedestrians injured in Kandivli (W) on Friday, did not even have a learner’s licence, police said. Surendra, along with car owner Rajendra Gupta, put the woman he had hit in an auto and took her to Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Before the accident took place, Rajendra had parked the vehicle when Surendra came by and asked him to let him drive for a bit.Surendra put the car into gear, but when he slammed the accelerator, the vehicle revved up and knock down the woman and the other two. The two arrested men have been sent to police custody. tnn
