Prayagraj: At least five people, including three of a family, lost their lives in a road accident when the car carrying them collided head-on with a dumper after jumping the divider near Kakora village on the Prayagraj-Kanpur highway in Kaushambi late Thursday evening.The incident took place when the front tyre of the speeding car burst, and the driver could not control it, resulting in a collision with a dumper on another lane. The deceased, identified as Aditya (30), Raj Bahadur (60), Rachna (35), Nanka (38) and Ramashankar (26), were residents of Fatehpur. A senior police official said Aditya was driving the car, and the family, along with two others, were returning to Fatehpur from Prayagraj when the incident took place.
