Patna: One Mohammad Raqeeb (56) died while his son-in-law Mohammad Famod (28) was seriously injured when their bike collided with a truck on NH-28 under Dalsinghsarai police station area in Samastipur district on Sunday. Dalsinghsarai SDPO, Vivek Kumar, said, “The accident took place when the truck attempted to overtake the bike, causing a fatal collision. Locals, demanding the construction of speed breakers to prevent accidents, blocked the road. The blockade was lifted after assurance by police. A case was registered in connection with the accident.”
