Patna University Invites Online Applications for Regular Post Graduate Courses | Patna News – Times of India


Patna: Patna University (PU) on Wednesday invited applications from the eligible candidates for admissions to its regular post graduate (PG) courses in the session 2024-25 by notifying an online link. The candidates can submit their online applications for admissions to the faculties of arts, science and commerce on the portal from June 20 to July 15.
Dean of students’ welfare Anil Kumar said the link for online submission of applications for admissions to the PG regular courses in education and law, besides the self-financed courses, would be issued later. “Admissions to all the regular PG (MA, MSc and MCom) courses under choice-based credit system will be made on the basis of the marks obtained by the students in their last qualifying degree examinations. The university will not take entrance test this year, except for personnel management and industrial relations (PMIR) course,” he said.

The applicants will have to deposit a fee of Rs 1,100 through online mode while submitting their applications on the designated website.
Meanwhile, admission of students from the second cut-off list of the undergraduate courses, both under regular and self-financed modes, in different colleges of PU, released on Saturday, commenced on the day. Nearly 50% of the sanctioned seats had already been filled from the first cut-off list.
On the day, Patna Science College admitted 41 students, Patna College 39, B N College 93, Magadh Mahila College 49 and Vanijya Mahavidyalay took admissions of 27 candidates. The admission from the second cut-off list will continue till Friday, said the dean.
