2L candidates to take BEd test on June 25 | Patna News – Times of India


Patna: More than two lakh examinees are likely to take the state-level combined entrance test for admission to the two-year B Ed course on June 25. The test will be held at 341 examination centres, including 167 meant exclusively for women, in 11 cities of the state.
Around 61,580 candidates will take the test at 79 centres in Patna. Of them , 28,986 women will be writing the test at 34 centres and 32,592 men will appear at 45 centres in the city.

Chief nodal officer of the combined entrance test, Ashok Kumar Mehta, told TOI that the admit cards of all the applicants have been uploaded on the website of L N Mithila Mithila University (LNMU).Applicants can download the same with the help of their login ID and password, he said.
The entrance test would be held from 11 am to 1 pm and the candidates have been directed to reach their examination centres at least half an hour before the commencement of the test.
The two-hour test will be held at different examination centres in Ara, Bhagalpur, Chhapra, Darbhanga, Gaya, Hajipur, Madhepura, Munger, Muzaffarpur, Patna and Purnia. The centres have been selected mostly at university and district headquarters with a view to ensuring smooth and fair conduct of the examinations. Government high schools besides colleges have been made centres of entrance test, he said.
The two-hour objective test would consist of 120 questions of one mark each. While 40 marks would be allotted to questions related to general awareness, 80 marks have been given to questions on Hindi, English, reasoning and analytical ability and teaching-learning environment. There would be no negative marking in the test.
There are 37,500 seats in 343 government and private training colleges.
