Sambalpur: Union education minister and Sambalpur MP Dharmendra Pradhan visited various temples in the city on Sunday. Prior to attending a meeting with the district administration, he met former MLA Raseshwari Panigrahi to seek blessings and advice for the region’s development.
He also met residents while visiting Shiva Temple in Maneswar, Hanuman Temple in Brooks Hill, Maa Raneswar Ramchandi Temple in Danipali and Balunkeswar Temple in Nandapada.He also visited the Jagannath Temple in Jhaduapada and the Shyam Temple and expressed his gratitude to locals for their support.
Pradhan said the BJP is committed to transforming Sambalpur into a prosperous city. Road maintenance, drinking water supply, healthcare and sanitation will be improved on priority, he said. “The govt is taking strategic decisions to fulfil its promises. As monsoon approaches, the district administration has been directed to focus on improving roads, drinking water, healthcare, sanitation and cleanliness,” Pradhan said.
