BENGALURU: A 40-year-old social worker from Bengaluru has filed a police complaint accusing a sitting BJP MLA and three others of gang raping her in June 2023. The complaint, lodged this week, names RR Nagar MLA Muniartna Naidu and three of his associates as the accused. The woman has alleged that the group assaulted her after injecting an unknown substance into her shoulder. She further claims to be suffering from a health condition following the alleged incident. According to her complaint, during the assault, the men also urinated on her face and threatened to kill her son and harm her family if she resisted or spoke out. Police have registered a case and said an investigation is underway. No arrests have been made so far.
