Guv emphasises NCC’s vital role in nation building | Bhubaneswar News

Bhubaneswar: Odisha governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Saturday highlighted the National Cadet Corps’ (NCC) crucial role in shaping India’s youth and fostering national unity. Speaking at a state-level seminar on “NCC – A Force Multiplier in Nation Building,” the governor lauded the organisation’s significant contributions since its establishment in 1948.“For over seven decades, the NCC has had a profound impact on our nation’s youth, instilling values of discipline, leadership, selfless service, and patriotism,” he said. He said numerous NCC alumni have gone on to serve in distinguished roles across civil, military, and administrative sectors. The seminar, organised by NCC group headquarters, Bhubaneswar, drew more than 1,000 cadets and dignitaries from across the state.Decorated veteran officers from the armed forces, senior administrators, and academicians shared their expertise with cadets and associate NCC Officers.Colonel Satyabrata Swain, director NCC Odisha, concluded the event by reaffirming the organisation’s commitment to nurturing responsible and service-oriented citizens.
