RRB NTPC Exam 2025 dates released: Check official schedule here

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the dates for the RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) exam 2025 on May 13, 2025. Aspiring candidates who have registered for the NTPC Graduate-level posts can now check the important details regarding the Computer-Based Test (CBT) 1 exam.The RRB NTPC exam will feature a total of 100 questions, divided into three sections: 40 questions on General Awareness, 30 on Mathematics, and 30 on General Intelligence & Reasoning. Candidates will be allotted 90 minutes to complete the test. Each correct answer will earn one mark, while incorrect answers will result in a deduction of 1/3 of a mark, as the exam follows a negative marking system.

Exam city and call letters: Important dates

Candidates will be able to view their Exam City & Date and download Travel Authority (for SC/ST candidates) starting 10 days before the exam date. The links for these details will be made available on the official websites of the respective RRBs. Additionally, e-call letters for the exam will be available for download 4 days prior to the scheduled exam date.

This year’s RRB NTPC exam aims to fill a total of 8113 graduate-level positions across various departments within the Indian Railways. Some of the major vacancies include:

  • Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor – 1736 vacancies
  • Station Master – 994 vacancies
  • Goods Train Manager – 3144 vacancies
  • Junior Account Assistant cum Typist – 1507 vacancies
  • Senior Clerk cum Typist – 732 vacancies
