Hyderabad: The Excise Special Task Force (STF) conducted a raid in Karmanghat on Wednesday and seized 105 bottles of non-duty paid liquorworth 4 lakh. The seized liquor was smuggled from Delhi to Hyderabad by a two-member gang. The main accused, Ravinder Katrawat from Nagarkurnool, operated under the guise of a used car business.He would purchase liquor at lower prices in Delhi and transport it to Hyderabad in car trunks. The bottles were then handed over to his associate, Nagi Reddy, at his residence in Santosh Mata Colony, Karmanghat. The seized inventory included branded alcohol. The accused were running this illegal operation as a side business alongside their used car trade, said police.
