Poultry truck crashed into a stationary excavator on the Nashik highway

THANE: At least three people, including the driver of a poultry-laden truck and his two associates, were injured after their vehicle rammed into a stationary excavator on the Nashik highway near Thane early Thursday.

The incident took place around 6am on the Nashik-to-Mumbai lane, when the truck, carrying nearly 1,600 hens from Alephata to Vasant Vihar, crashed after the driver lost control. The incident led to minor traffic congestion during peak morning hours.
