Cuttack SP Prateek Singh, usually known for sharing knowledge about stocks and AI through his social media handle, has turned into a food enthusiast with his latest post. The officer shared a photograph of a roti with a spoon of malai and pickled garnish and wrote, “World ka best khana!” (world’s best food). This brought forth a string of responses with one social media user suggesting “pakhala in summer”, while another commenting “Maa ka khana!”
Style statement
When the West Bengal govt decided to build a Jagannath temple in Digha, some saw it as a spiritual expansion, others claimed it to be a ploy to take away tourists from Odisha. But the plot thickened when a senior servitor from Puri Jagannath Temple was seen at the inaugural event in Digha wearing sunglasses. Some commented whether it was for sun protection or a style statement.
Misplaced comment?
Earlier, social media users used to poke fun at the police for regularly checking traffic rule violations. Many would claim the police were not working hard on preventing serious crimes like robbery. Now, traffic violations have become common with cars and autorickshaws also driving the wrong way. Some netizens are now forced to eat their own words.
