NEET 2025: Students find physics tough

Bengaluru: Many aspirants found NEET 2025 moderate overall, but with a demanding physics section that tested their conceptual clarity and numerical solving skills. Students said the paper was within the NCERT syllabus but required time management and focus.
“Physics was difficult. Numerical and explanatory questions were tricky and took time. Chemistry and biology were easy. I studied in the state board, which covers the NCERT syllabus and took coaching. I wrote CET. In comparison, CET went better,” said Anarghya Joshi, who took the test in Bengaluru.
Rajeshwari MS, another student, while reiterating that physics was challenging, said biology was good and chemistry was tricky—especially organic chemistry, while inorganic chemistry was okay.
“Questions were within the NCERT syllabus. I wrote JEE Mains, KCET, and NEET. NEET was the most difficult. I studied the state board syllabus,” Rajeshwari said.
Rishika Y, from another centre in Bengaluru, said her preparation was okay, but physics, particularly the application-type questions, was challenging. “They took a lot of time and were hard. Last year was similar, except that this year had a lot of application-type questions. Chemistry was fine. Biology was fine. I studied in the Manipur state board, which refers to NCERT,” Rishika said.
“…This year was better than last year. I took coaching… I studied in the CBSE syllabus, and the questions were within the NCERT syllabus,” Sharon B said, adding that physics was tough.
