No room for complacency,Bansal tells T BJP leaders

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP affairs in-charge Sunil Bansal on Tuesday urged party leaders and workers to intensify their efforts, warning that the party top leadership has detailed reports on each leader’s performance. He cautioned against complacency and made it clear that underperformance would not be tolerated.
Bansal instructed district presidents to be prepared to resign if they fail to complete the formation of mandal-level committees by May 4. According to party sources, he expressed dissatisfaction over the sluggish pace in achieving key targets, including the membership drive and implementation of new programs.

He pointed out discrepancies in membership data, stating that while the party reported 13,000 active members, only about 4,000 were truly active,” he said. BJP rules specify that active members must first register as basic members—free of charge—and then enrol at least 25 new members, along with paying an active membership fee of 100. It is suspected that nearly 9,000 individuals were counted as active members despite not fulfilling these criteria, Bansal said.
