Bengaluru: Two men, who have burgled many houses and stole vehicles, have landed in the custody of SJ Park police.
Ullas, 24, from Begur and Kiran, 24, from Yeshwantpur, became friends when they were remanded at a juvenile home for committing vehicle thefts and burglaries across the city.
On the night of March 10, they broke into a hardware store on SJP Road and stole Rs 7,000. Collecting the evidence, police arrested Ullas and Kiran near the truck stand in Herohalli recently. Police found that the duo was involved in five car thefts, one house burglary, and five bike thefts in Kolar, Bengaluru Rural, and Tumakuru. Police seized three cars, six bikes, and jewellery worth Rs 34 lakh from them.
Ullas has 31 cases registered against him in various police stations, while Kiran has nine.
