CHENNAI: A technical glitch detected seconds before departure led to the delay of an Air India flight to Coimbatore from Chennai on Monday morning.
The flight, originally scheduled for 5.45 am, had to return to the bay since the pilot identified a technical snag after taxiing to the runway.
There were 148 passengers and a six-member crew on the flight, and they had to be deboarded to resolve the problem.
The snag was rectified by a technical team, and the flight was rescheduled for take-off around 7.45 am.
