Man smuggles gold worth 1cr, held at airport | Mumbai News – The Times of India

Mumbai: A 31-year-old man from Rajasthan smuggled 1.2 kg of gold worth Rs 1.02 crore by hiding it in iron boxes. He was arrested by customs at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. Based on digital profiling, the Air Intelligence Unit of Customs on Thursday intercepted Shahrukh Khan, checking his baggage resulted in the recovery of two iron boxes in which they found 16 pieces of gold bars weighing 1.200 kg, valued at Rs 1.02 crore. tnn
