Car catches fire on highway in Telangana, passengers escape unharmed | Hyderabad News
HYDERABAD: Six passengers escaped unscathed when the car they were travelling in caught fire on a highway in Kamareddy district on Saturday morning.
As the car reached Kyasampalli, the driver noticed smoke emanating from the Scorpio.
He immediately got the passengers out of the car. Within minutes, the car was engulfed in flames. The police arrived at the scene after being informed.
The fire department, which rushed to the location, put out the fire.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
The car was reportedly on its way from Bhuvanagiri to Badapahad when the mishap occurred.
