HC relief for med student in practical exam marks | Mumbai News – Times of India

Mumbai: In a relief to a student pursuing her MBBS course in a city college, the Bombay high court on Thursday confirmed a vacation bench order and directed that the marks secured by her in the practical examination conducted on June 7, 2024 be treated as marks secured by her in the second term’s practical examination for ‘Obstetrics and Gynecology’.
The HC division bench of Justices A S Chandurkar and Rajesh Patil after hearing advocates Pooja Thorat, for the student, S B Shetye for the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and Sanjay Patekar for the medical college, said the order was not to be treated as a precedent.
The HC directed the marksheet be issued to the student with all consequences to follow. She was aggrieved by the marks given to her. On May 30, HC directed that the result be held in abeyance. She secured a first class, noted the HC and disposed of her petition. tnn
