Day temp likely to rise in next few days: IMD | Bhubaneswar News

Bhubaneswar: The state could witness a gradual rise in day temperature by 4-6 degree Celsius in the next few days, the IMD said on Sunday. Night temperature would also see a gradual rise by 2-3 degrees during the period.
On Monday, light to moderate rain or thunderstorm activity would continue in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack and Jagatsinghpur.
The state witnessed widespread rain in last two days affecting crops and vegetables. “Groundnut and watermelon grown in over two acres of land were badly damaged due to unseasonal rain,” lamented Parikkhita Behera, a farmer from Bari area of Jajpur district. Behera said he is in the dark how to repay his loan. Similar is the plight of many rain-affected farmers in the state. TNN
