Hyderabad CP inspects MP DK Aruna’s residence a day after break-in | Hyderabad News

Hyderabad: Commissioner of police CV Anand visited Mahabubnagar MP and BJP leader DK Aruna‘s residence on Monday after a masked intruder was caught on camera breaking into the house and walking around the first floor of the building for over an hour before slipping out the way he had entered in the early hours of Sunday.
The CP inspected the residence and an open plot behind it, from where the intruder scaled a compound wall to enter the premises. He also inquired with the Jubilee Hills police about the status of the investigation and instructed them to expedite the process to apprehend the suspect at the earliest.
A source told TOI that the intruder seems to be someone who knew the property well. “There are specific clues and sufficient evidence. Teams are working to nab him at the earliest,” the source said.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that chief minister A Revanth Reddy spoke to the MP and assured her of her safety and increasing the security cover at her residence.
